The Kodak / State Farm team is selected by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
The WBCA also chooses a coach of the year and a player of the year.
The Broderick Award (Honda Award) recipient is selected by a national panel of women's collegiate athletic directors.
The Wade Trophy recipient is selected by the National Association for Girls and Women in Sports (NAGWS). Beginning with the 2000-01 season, the winner is considered the WBCA player of the year.
The Naismith Trophy recipient and coach of the year is selected by a panel of coaches, sportswriters, and broadcasters for the Atlanta Tip-Off Club.
The Associated Press player of the year and coach of the year are selected by AP sportswriters and broadcasters.
The USBWA player of the year and coach of the year are selected by members of the United States Basketball Writers Association.
The John and Nellie Wooden Award for the top women's college basketball coach in America is selected by the Utah Tip Off Club.
The Wooden Award, which honors the nation's top women's college basketball player, is selected by a panel of more than 200 voters comprised of sports media members and women's college basketball experts from around the nation.
